The ICES oceanographic database holds more than 100 years of oceanographic data.

Data Submission
In order to submit oceanographic data to ICES please follow the Data Submission Guidelines

Data Quality Control
All data are quality controlled according to the Data Type Guidelines and visually inspected by experienced staff to further improve the quality of the data.

Data Collections
Many of the publicly oceanographic data in the ICES oceanographic database are available for download from the pages linked below.

CTD and Bottle data	Search and download CTD and Bottle data.
Distribution maps	View Distribution maps and histograms
Underway data	Download Underway data (mainly data from ships of opportunity in the NE Atlantic/North Sea).
Surface data	Download Surface data (CTD, Bottle and Underway/Pump data collected at depths < 10 m).
HELCOM data	View and download Baltic Sea Monitoring (HELCOM) data.
Project data	View and download project datasets
ROSCOPs	Search the Cruise Summary Report (ROSCOP) database.
